The Results are In

A couple of weeks ago I did a little experiment.
If you read the post below, you'll know what it was about.

Here some things to clarify.

1. I did NOT ignore him, avoid him or cut off conversation once it started.
2. I was in the room with him, in silence for hours at a time.
3. It lasted one week.
4. I didn't talk to him, until he initiated conversation with me.

The total amount of times, that my roommate initiated conversation ,through out the entirety of the week was FOUR TIMES.
Less than one a day, in fact the one time I initiated dialogue because I needed to mention something that I can't seem to recall the significance of now.
Regardless, FOUR TIMES.

The first break was "I'm turning off the lights". No dialogue followed.

The second was a conversation about a couple on my floor, he just discovered they were dating. They've been together since October.

The third was him saying "hi" to me as we crossed paths on the bridge.

The fourth was my doing.

So there you have it.
But the icing on the cake is that I left the next week from Tuesday night until the next Monday morning. I went up to Camp to work program for a High School Retreat. I didn't mention it to him because I was too busy being silent. I come back on Monday, he didn't know where I'd been, didn't know why I was missing or anything.
Didn't ask someone on my floor.
He didn't even text me to see why I wasn't around.
Nothing.
I was gone for 6 nights and 5 days.
Didn't think it was worth mentioning to anyone.

Luckily people on my floor already knew I was leaving, but he didn't.
I'm fairly sure he hates me.
Cheers
