Our 3 day gong show of a travel experience is finally over.
We made our way to the Mall of Asia and I got the chance to finally play drums.
There was this huge music store and due to the fact that Filipinos are super laid back, they just gave me drum sticks and let me go nuts.
So I'm finally out of Asia, but at the same time not exactly.
When we arrived back at the base the Current DTS was all there. Which just so happens to be a Korean DTS. So just when we thought we would be the majority, it turns out were still the minority.
Not out of Asia, entirely.
When we got back we were expecting to be assigned to rooms all over the base, only to discover that we are all being accommodated in this house a couple minutes' walk from the base called the Canaan house. It's basically this amazing old European house that like has little caverns that never seem to end.
It's a gong show of a good time. I love it.
I really couldn't have asked for a better way to do de-brief week with these people.
Stoked for this week. and London.
and then home.
So close, yet so far.
Cheers.
