Summering

It's Summer, or at least it has been for about 1.5 months for me anyway.
This Summer, is different for me than usual though.

Usually, I'm at Camp.  But not this Summer, no no no.

Instead, I have opted to stay home in the non-muskoka Niagara region.  Which, if you were wondering,  is far superior to that of the London, ON area, which boasts a dirty river that runs through the city and that is all.

It has been, so far, a darn good time.  I've seen the pre-oil spill West Florida beach, committed the ultimate in sins against my country and ventured to the American side of the Falls, sat in a large Muskoka chair in Gravenhurst, went to Port Dalhousie to see it off before the dreaded tower moves in and ends under aged summer drunken bafoonery forever, played night volleyball in Waterloo and got 2 jobs that don't come close to filling up 40 hours a week, let alone 20.  I've somehow managed to keep morale up during these trialed times of non-campness but you never know when I will fall into the pit of despair and realize the error of my ways. ..
No stealing golf carts, star gazing, night swimming (I meant "day" cause swimming at night is not allowed and dangerous), bridge jumping, weekend cottaging, dressing up, skit making, running after childrening, bear hunting, bull horning, fun mealing, waterfront drilling, cursing other people with the last name that starts with "N" for having mail in my mailbox-ing, midnight hike scaring and my favourite thing of all, looking for all the things my cabin has lost-ing".

However, it's amazing how many people seem to recognize me, and know that my place in the world is at 1224 East Bay Road, Torrance, ON P0C 1M0.  Being called the "camp guy" is something I find ironic seeing as I've only spent a measly 3 Summers, one of which I was in Day Camp.
However the Neufeld siblings are passing the baton onto the youngest, and best Neufeld we've ever seen.  The reputation of goodness that her two older siblings have will soon be forgotten.
But the jokes on her, I just cemented her new nickname "t-bag".
Burn.
