Fire It Up

Last Sunday I moved to my new home in London, ON.
I'm currently residing in Sydenham Residence which is actually comprised of 2 main buildings that make up "Medway-Sydenham". Or Med-Syd.
These 2 residences are actually one, because they have underground tunnels that run throughout them and thus, we can go to Med, and Med can come to Syd at all times.
The buildings are super old, and the architecture reminds me of Europe.
I'm ok with that.

This last week was O-Week.
Where they bombard your day with events, cheers, while fashioning and molding your ego, along with your Western Spirit.
I am now well aware that
1. I made the best choice of my life choosing this school.
2. I would only get one O-week, and it WILL be the best week of my life.
3. Western loves it's dances, and loves to mock the people degrading themselves at the dances, which is hilarious.
4. We have a marching band and cheer leading squad, I've seen them many times. The latter usually lets us know how well we cheered at the end of every session. Sorry my enthusiasm for your flips and turns isn't at it's peak at 9am.
5. We are going to kill Laurier on Sunday...which we did.

After the hours of intros, cheers, "rules", tours and charity, I thought I wanted to go to class.
Nope.
Turns out it's true. Nursing is an intense program. It's tons of work, and since my first class on Thurs, my social life has started to take a back seat. Which is what I expected....and it's pretty hard to do in res.
There are 17 guys in my class of 125. The most guys in a Nursing class in the history of the school.
First term, from what I understand, is the most book work, due to the 6 classes, instead of 5 And no clinical. Great.
We'll see how this turns out.
