There's an application on Facebook entitled "Where I've Been".
It's basically a large map that you can explore like you can explore a Google Map. The only difference is, that on the map you colour code countries according to:
-Where you've lived
-Where you've been
and where you want to go
If any person at any point in time has ventured OUTSIDE of North America, they feel it is imperative to get this application and declare themselves world travelers.
I almost did it, I almost got this. But then I realized, oh wait, I've been to 3 other countries outside of North America and who really gives a whack about where I've been anyway. Is it really that exciting to label a country green or blue or red or hot pink depending on whether or not I've stepped foot inside the boundaries that make this a nation, been frisked by their customs and filled out an immigration card that takes far too long and has a bunch of reasons why they'll throw me in jail.
Regardless, I came to the realization that people do not care where I've been, what colours I label nations and what experiences I've had in each colour coded country.
And another thing, this stupid blog requires "signing in". and there's a little box that you can click that says "Remember Me".
AND it never remembers me.
so phased.
