Chilling with Ms. Love

YWAM ended awhile ago. I've been home over a week, but I haven't reallllly been home.
I got back Sunday night to a house full of people who all asked "how was YWAM?", in which i responded...."good".
Done.
After that I had Stephanie Love from YWAM fly into Buffalo and stay at my place for a couple of days.
Besides the long and complicated process of "how do you two know each other?" at the border (a question, which shouldn't be that difficult, but I somehow made it very confusing) it all went fairly well. My touring skills are pretty epically lame.
But the Fun House seems like it should be epic fun, and the Maid of the Mist is just one of those things you need to do, after that you got to start making stuff up.
Regardless of my complete lack of knowing what's around the Niagara area, it was a lot of fun to have her around. It was strange leaving her Friday morning to go Fishing up north and knowing that, that was my final YWAM experience. I somehow dragged the experience 2 weeks past how long it was supposed to last.
So, now that the fishing weekend is over, which was, for the most part a successful failure, (a failure cause we didn't catch much, a success cause we survived, and laughed a lot) I find myself facing the world of work. Which, quite frankly, sucks.
Thankfully I have a job at my dad's office and the YMCA is throwing weekend shifts my way, but for the most part, just not as fun as exploring Europe and having 25 of your closest friends within arm's reach at all times, but I'm managing.
Now I face registering for Uni, working enough to pay back my parents, playing drums and piano and praying that this stupid country of ours gets relatively warm.
Like, you come home from 30 degree weather in England, and you expect the Niagara region to be somewhat warm.
Nope, it's still stupid cold here.
I'm offended.
